When Cannonball McKay, an incredibly resourceful woman, hires a crippled ex-con the station master, Collins is less than pleased and as a result puts a stop to the latest shipment of Gold due to a recent rise in staged robberies in the area. Dr Tate, the man behind all of the recent robberies has Collins killed and frames Jones for the murder. Once The Ranger gets involved though, an unsuspecting connection is revealed.
